Nothing screams touristy quite like the classic touring car DTM races of the 1990s, like the Opel Calibras that tore up racetracks across Germany. Tamiya brings back a fan favorite with this R/C mounting kit that recreates the Opel Calibra V6 Cliff, one of the many teams that raced Opels in the 1990s. The polycarbonate housing is mounted on the TT-01 Type-E chassis for easy installation. The Opel Calibra V6 Cliff was previously released on the Tamiya TA-02 chassis during the rise of R/C touring cars in the 1990s.
About the Opel Calibra V6 Cliff:
The Opel Calibra V6 Cliff took part in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft (DTM) series in 1995. Entered by Joest Racing with driver JJ. Lehto, the car was powered by a 2.5-liter V6 engine with a power of 420 hp. The striking black body with the Cliff logo caught people's attention, and this car showed the power of race pace during DTM races.
